Our Typical Day

 

09:15 - Structured activities to include painting, gluing, dough, water, sand, colouring, jigsaws, computer, books, cars/garage, Lego, train, dolls house, kitchen, dressing up, duplo, musical instruments, rainbow rings, beads & lacing. farm and animals, dolls & pushchairs, duplo, theme area.

 

10:20 - Tidy Up / Toilet / Wash Hands

 

10.40 - Outside play (Use of Kineton Green Primary School Playground).

 

11.00 - Drink & Snacks: The children are offered milk, water or squash.  We also offer healthy snacks such as fruit, toast, yoghurt, carrot batons, bread sticks, raisons, cereal.

 

11.15 - Register/Circle time: Children are asked to answer their name when called and encouraged to recognise their name card. This familiarises them to the structure of a classroom registration.  We also learn the days of the week, numbers, colours etc and discuss our current theme.

 

11:30 - Large Equipment / Free Play to include: Little Tikes activity cube, slides, space hopper, tunnel, hula hoops, bean bags, bats & balls, stepping stones, see-saw rocker, trampoline.

 

12.00 - Songs / Give out art work 

 

12.15 - Home Time
